Even though Agriculture is the biggest employer in regional and rural Australia with over 300,000 working in the sector, it faces a near-critical skills shortage in a large number of occupations.

 

At Agriculture Careers Australia, our mission is to inspire and connect urban youth with exciting and rewarding careers in regional and rural Australia. We achieve this through information seminars in the cities, then taking passionate young people on real-life regional and rural tours and work experience.

Our programs assist young people to realise the enormous benefits of living and working in regional and rural Australia - such as affordable housing, healthier lifestyle, improved work-life balance - and provide practical solutions to many problems our nation faces including skills and housing shortages.
